Shearing Day is May 15, 2022

Journey Class Students are invited to volunteer with the process of shearing the alpacas.

If students from the Journey class choose to come volunteer with SD then Check out the stations below.

*Walk the alpacas, *vacuum the alpacas, *hold and comfort the alpacas, *help the  shearer sort the fleece from the alpaca (on your knees job), *fleece sweeper- sweep up after each alpaca is finished   being shorn *fiber room attendants, *housekeeping station – (be sure snacks are fresh, room is tidy, run for lunch pick up and whatever else that will make the day go smoothly)
