The hand knitted Slouchy Alpaca Beanie is made from our own alpaca fleece made into yarn. We offer this special hat in three colors, natural white from NEAFP* milled yarn, and hand dyed Blue from our alpaca named Leavin Hill or Buddy, and a Knit Picks alpaca blend. This slouchy beanie has that loose look on the top while still keeping your head warm in a wide range of conditions.
The story behind this homegrown product is as good as it feels. The natural and renewable alpaca fiber used to make our spiral beanie is grown by Quarry Critters Alpaca Ranch. The yarn was spun by local USA mini mills or the NEAFP mill. Then the yarn was knitted by the owner of QCAR, Julie Wysong. This is what makes local U.S. Grown, U.S. Made Alpaca feel so good.

*NEAFP is New England Alpaca Fiber Pool, they collect American alpaca fibers and mill the fibers into yarn, hats, our most loved socks, gloves, scarves, insoles and more.
