Condition of fleece: Lovely soft dense fleece. crimp to die for (tip to base).   Shiny, Fantastic lock formation, uniform lock structure. Pretty color of red brown. 

Alpaca Grade and Usage

Grade- 1   ~  Rum Raisin’s fleece has not been sent for scientific testing yet.   To the best of Julie’s calculations this fleece is a grade 1

• Grade 1 Ultra fine <20 microns. Gentle feel next to skin.

Research shows that a diameter of 21 microns or less is necessary for most people to feel comfortable wearing alpaca next to their skin without a prickle factor.
