In this class, we will learn the favorable characteristics of alpaca fleece. We will learn  what to look for when purchasing an alpaca fleece. During this class. will demonstrate how to clean an alpaca fleece using these methods-  skirting, tumbling and washing.  We will demonstrate and have hands on skirting, grading, sorting. We will discuss what these grades of fiber can be made into such as  baby clothes, shoe insoles and so on. 

The class size is very small only 4 participates so let me know if you have interest. First voice gets the first space.

This is a great class for alpaca owners who want to know how to skirt their fleece for show or home processing. We will discuss what to look for when  purchasing an alpaca fleece. We will learn about the characteristics and find them on a fleece.
