What: Spin alpaca fleece (or roving) into yarn 

In this 3 session class,  we will prepare fibers for spinning.  We will be using  spinning wheels to spin alpaca fiber into yarn. We will see demonstrations on a spinning wheel as well as hands on to make your own yarn. There will be time to practice with supervision, along with homework. 

You must bring your own wheel, use a classroom wheel, or plan to purchase a new Kromski wheel.

If you want to use the class wheel you must make an appointment  to spend time in the studio for your personal independent time to practice. Appointments can be made anytime between Wednesday-Saturday  11-3. for extra personal  practice. We have 3 class wheel, the first to request use of wheels will be eligible to use. Class wheels do not leave the studio.

Should you decide to purchase a new Kromski wheel you may take advantage of a payment plan.

QCAR Alpaca Gift Shop now sells Kromski spinning wheels and accessories. We have the whole line of spinning wheels, looms, hand carders, Niddy Noddies and parts available for purchase. Service charges for repairs available by David Wysong

This class will be included for free when you purchase a Kromski Spinning Wheel from QCAR.

Extra fiber is available for sale.

The class size is very small, only 4 participates, so register today.

We are going to have fun.  So to get started, enroll in the class. You can pay online for this class now, it’s non refundable, but  store credit will be available if you can’t make the class.
