Alpaca Roving Blend

80% Alpaca white and grey, 20% merino dyed lavender wool

The alpacas Icabod and Kassandra grew the white fiber that is in this roving.  A grey alpaca named Lacey grew the grey fiber in this roving. These alpacas were grown and sheared at Quarry Critters Alpaca Ranch. Their fiber was sent to a mini mill the create the roving you see here.

This Alpaca Roving comes in 4 oz bundles. Just the right about the spin up a skein of yarn. One skein of yarn could make a comfy alpaca hat or a pair of mittens.

White, grey and lavender, what fun to see the colors combine as you spin them on your spinning wheel or drop spindle.
