80% Alpaca 20% merino
The alpacas Icabod and Kassandra grew the white fiber for the lavender roving. Alpacas Dusty and Cookie grew the fawn alpaca fiber for the Fall Color roving. A grey alpaca named Lacey grew the grey fiber in the lavender roving.
New colors now available in tri-color roving ropes. These new colors include
-Sapphire,Fuschsia, and Cerulean combination – alpacas named Kassandra, Finn and Bellfolower grew the fibers from their neck and belly area.
-Green blend includes green, bronze and ocean green in a tri color grouping of roving – alpacas that grew these alpaca seconds fibers are named Jasmine and Jacilee.
-coral, peach, and apricot were the colors choosen for this color colored roving – alpacas that contributed their seconds were Trek and d’Artagnan. Extra fibers made up the red color.
These alpacas were grown and sheared at Quarry Critters Alpaca Ranch. Their fiber was sent to a mini mill called Lancaster Creek Spinnery then created to these rovings you see here.
These Alpaca Rovings come in 4 oz bundles. Just the right about the spin up a skein of yarn. One skein of yarn could make a comfy alpaca hat or a pair of mittens.
