Knit a Beanie

Cost: $40 for  2  (2 hour) sessions 

     1st session gets you started and well on your way. You’ll have time at home to continue

      2nd session shows you how to finish your beanie and you can wear it home.

What: Knit a beanie to wear

When: Choose a date from the drop down box.

Together we will make a beanie. You will receive help on stitches and tips along the way. You will complete a wearable beanie. The beanie size you are making will fit a woman. 

You will need to have a working knowledge of how to cast on, knit, purl and bind off. 

We will be knitting in the round, making ribbing, decreasing, using double pointed needles, and finishing the hat. 

After this workshop,  you will be able to follow a pattern to make a larger or smaller beanie.

Supplies needed:

• 3.5 oz alpaca yarn, worsted weight
• Stitch markers, 
• needles size US size 6 circular 16 inch round
• size US size 8 needles circular 16 inch rounds
•  dpn size US size 7
