In this class, we will use different tools to card fiber and discuss why we use each tool to achieve the outcome. We will talk about the difference between woolen and worsted and how to achieve these results. Tools we will use are a drum carder, combs and hand carders. We will blend fibers to get some really awesome rolags, roving or batts.
Supplies list will be emailed to you. If you own a drum carder, combs or hand carders it will be helpful to bring them along. There will be tools here to practice on and hand carders are available to purchase.
