Bring your own rigid heddle loom 16″ or larger with a 10 dent reed. We have rigid heddle looms available for purchase. Arrangements can be made to work on a loom in class for a small fee. Class loom will stay at the Alpaca Learning Studio. We are a Kromski dealer and can fix you up with your own loom. But first let’s get you going without that commitment.
Cost: $185 a skein of weavers yarn included
Instructors: Jeanette Mannin from A Hidden Gem Alpaca Farm and
Julie Wysong, Quarry Critters Alpaca Ranch
In this class you will start by learning the parts of the loom. Then we will quickly more on to warp your loom.
You will soon be throwing the shuttle from side to side, over and under, (this is the weft weave) creating a plain weave and finished product will be a scarf.
Supplies needed:
Bring if you have. Please support our Alpaca Gift Shop if you are needing to make a purchase. This helps us to continue to offer classes. Thank you
